Very Long Press is written by Alex Cornell, an interface designer at Substack. Previously he was the cofounder of Cocoon, Dialpad, and the lead designer of Facebook Live.
Very Long Press is named after my favorite interaction: the long press. Despite being insanely powerful, its majesty will never be truly realized, as a result of it being perpetually undiscoverable. It’s a secret weapon, that will always be secret.
(It also sounds like the printing press of a very tall person, like me.)
